JULY NEWS UPDATES

E-mail received from the ever cheeky chap Kev of ‘Who’s Afear’d’  27th May ‘10 -

TIZ with great sadness that we report the demise of ‘WHO’S AFEAR’D’
Cheers to everyone who has ridden our 31 bus through the streets of Rock ‘n’ Roll over the past 3 years, helping us leave a trail of smiles, stares, quiche crumbs, cider stains and empty bottles, cans and crisp packets where ever we went!!  It was a phenomenal, mental ride, and we are grateful for all the applause, breaks and free pints, not forgetting the odd pair of knickers that came our way! NICE ONE!!
TIZ with great happiness however, that we also report the rising of a cider-soaked penguin from the ashes.  Kevicous and the Dorset Rock will shortly be embarking on West Country domination with their new act, already described by the MNE* as “Like before, but with more of the good stuff”. (It sounds like Miss Whiplash, is joining the new band? - Ed)

To complete the line-up they are looking for a Drummer and Double Bassist, and would love to find someone who already knows what ‘Who’s Afear’d’ were all about. Gigs already waiting, new songs are ready for playing, we just need the right person on the skins and a big plucker!
